Roti is the universal term used to refer to the round flat unleavened breads eaten throughout India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. - Unfold the plates of the machine and connect the plug to a 230/240V socket. Once the indicator light automatically goes off place a dough ball about an inch in diameter on the bottom plate on the middle.
- Now by holding the upper plate and the press foot pandel this dough ball down together with a little force to flatten it into a perfectly round shape. Leave it on the plate for about 20 seconds.
- Flip the roti over and when the air bubbles begin to form on the surface, turn the roti over again and gently shut the upper plate. After a few more seconds the roti starts puffing up from both sides. Remove the roti and serve.
